As the old saying goes, "what goes around, comes
around." My first guitar was a bass but I got rid of it after a
short time for a number of reasons. After over 35 years, I have
gotten back into the bass guitar. After jamming for some time with
at least two different groups of people, I reasoned that there were always
plenty of 6 string/rhythm guitars in the group, but never a bass. I
decided that would be my next "project."
In January 2005, I purchased this Peavey Grind NTB 4
bass guitar. I am learning a lot with it, mainly because I have been
playing quite a bit lately with some very talented and very experienced
musicians. Whether or not I will ever master it is not really an
issue. As I've said before, my main objective is to have fun.
